2 men dead, 7 people injured after shooting in downtown Orlando 66

Police answered a shooting call close to East Focal Street and North Orange Road right at 1:07 a.m. Friday. Minutes after the fact, police said they got one more call about shots discharged south of Washington Road on North Orange Road.


Orlando Police Boss Eric Smith said eight individuals were shot, two of the casualties kicked the bucket and a 10th individual was stomped on in the turmoil. Casualties' ages are somewhere in the range of 19 and 39, police said.


The suspect, distinguished as 17-year-old Jaylen Dwayne Edgar, has a past capture record, as per police.

One of the casualties killed during the mass shooting was recognized as a UCF understudy, as indicaLLted by school authorities.


The school didn't share explicit insights regarding the character of the understudy.


Suspect

OPD said Edgar has been accused of two counts of first-degree murder with a gun and six counts of endeavored first-degree murder with a gun.
